This blended training workshop blends online learning with a highly-interactive live workshop. It begins with participants completing THREE 45- to 60-minute Integrate Diversity into Employment Interviewing online training modules on their own prior to the live workshop (required pre-work). This gets everyone on the same page with the workshop topics (listed below).

The online trainings include videos, quotes and examples of real people and situations from Lila Kelly’s firsthand research and experience, activities and quizzes.

The live workshop brings participants to a deeper level of learning through discussion, activities and interaction with others from different organizations.

Human Resource professionals, hiring manager, recruiters and other interviewers will want to attend this highly interactive one-day workshop to build cultural competencies and skills for inclusive interviewing and hiring!

A Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants upon completion of the online component and live workshop.

It examines interviewers’ expected responses to commonly asked interview questions that may be unmet due to cultural misunderstandings, and explores alternative methods for asking inclusive interview questions.

Designed to help interviewers avoid discrimination and potential legal trouble, as well as uncomfortable diversity-related interview situations. It reviews personal information that should not be discussed in interviews, but sometimes is anyway. It examines diversity-related questions that applicants may ask, appropriate responses for interviewers, and methods for interviewers to address diversity during an interview. Participants gain additional insights from diverse applicants related to the work environment and interviewers’ behaviors for creating a more effective and welcoming interview process for all applicants.
